£15 per person, for 2 courses (main course and pudding) counter service

+ basket of home-made Italian flatbread (+ £1.50 per person)
+ table service (+ £5 per person)
+ linen table cloths and napkins (+ £3 per person)
+ coffee/tea (+ £2 per person)

In advance, select one of 2 choices per course for each person – along with any specific dietary requirements. This will often be a meat/fish choice with a vegetarian/vegan alternative. So, you will offer all your guests the same 2 choices and you will let us know how many of each of the 2 choices you require.

Starters

  • Smoked chicken with pear and rocket, sesame and ginger dressing
  • River Farm smoked salmon with dill cream cheese
  • Baba ganoush with roasted peppers and green beans in tomato sauce
  • Goat’s cheese filo parcel, pesto dressing, leaves
  • Michaelhouse soup (cream of tomato; sweet potato, chilli and coconut; parsnip cheddar and rosemary – winter only)

Main courses

  • Jerk roast chicken (on the bone) with rice ‘n’ peas, roast pepper/chilli ketchup and salad leaves
  • Mustard and garlic roast chicken (on the bone) on braised potatoes and onions with a mixed leaf salad
  • Beef and Cambridgeshire ale pie with buttered new potatoes and red cabbage
  • Vietnamese beef with basmati rice with Vietnamese herb salad
  • Lownz’s lamb tagine with almond and currant bulghur and parsley & mint salad
  • Salmon fillet with lemon hollandaise sauce with buttered new potatoes and green beans
  • Roast aubergine and puy lentils in a balsamic cream with bulghur wheat and spiced pepperonata
  • Roast vegetable and halloumi lasagne with salad leaves

Desserts

  • Apple and blackberry crumble with clotted cream
  • Chocolate and Guinness cake with warm chocolate sauce
  • Chocolate and chestnut cake with crème fraiche (gluten free)
  • Lemon tart with crème fraiche
  • Plum and almond tart with crème fraiche
  • Poached pears in mulled wine syrup
  • Warm date flapjack with vanilla ice cream (dairy free on request)
